prayer walk

Spent some time this afternoon prayer walking the neighborhood around the Corps. We have prayer walked in Vancouver(my first real introduction it), but this was more focused, almost more intense. We'll be spending more time doing this weekly, both around the vacinity of the Corps and other areas of Bangor. Today we just took the time to walk around, openning our eyes to what's around us(physically and spiritually)and listening to what God may be telling us about the general area.
Also this afternoon, the teen group met. They were a little smaller in numbers(I think) but they seem like a good bunch. It will be nice to have the opportunity to get to know them better over this coming weekend.
Speaking of this weekend - I get to go to Youth Councils! WooHoo! We will be leaving here about 3pm tomorrow and it looks as though its going to rain all weekend...ick! Please pray for those who will be attending, paying a little extra attention to the group going from Bangor. Pray that Holy Spirit will really pour into them and that they will receive all the gifts presented to them. Pray that they will desire more and more to seek out God's face and really want to spend time with Him. Pray annointing over each of them, that they would not be afraid to worship(no matter when or where)...no fear. NONE!!
Tonight I'm hoping to sit around and not do a whole lot. This week has been somewhat laid back, but with coming into a new situation, meeting new people, and really trying to take everything in, it has really seemed somewhat long. Once we are on a somewhat regular schedule things will settle, I believe.
I like it here(even if I get made fun of for being Canadian). Feels as though I fit - which is a little weird since I've never been here before...must be a God thing! Praise the Lord! =)
I have a small, unspoken request for you all. Pray for me. God has been presenting me with some interesting options lately and I'm looking for His direction here...it can't hurt to have lots of other prayer warriors sending them up in my behalf. Thanks guys!
