New York...part 2

The rest of the weekend in New York went very well. We had spent some time on Friday afternoon praying for the delegates who would be there. I really felt like those coming were really hand picked by God to be there. That these were the one's He was going to use to start the overflowing process in that division. I still believe it.
I had the opportunity to lead a workshop on Saturday morning. From the little bit of feedback that I've receieved, it apparenlty went well. I have always wanted to be a public speaker, but as of yet, I don't think God has given me that gift. I'm praying that it will develop and that He will use me for things like this again soon(not preaching, speaking...there's a difference! I don't think I'm a preacher).
Sunday morning we headed to the Canandagua Corps to lead their Sunday School - which felt like church since there were so many older folk there!! It went off without a hitch. Andy dressed up as 'Sir Scallywag' the pirate and the kids loved him. One young boy named Caleb even felt that by the end of Sunday School that he could proclaim himself as the pirates "biggest fan!" It was really cute.
The morning service was nice. I even had the opportunity to play 2nd cornet in the band(small ensemble). Good times!
And that my friends, pretty much sums up my time in New York. Along with a flight home and another 3 hour drive from the airport.

Time is flying and soon enough I'll be back on a plane heading in the same direction for my summer assignment. Please pray that I would really push in hard this last month in Vancouver. I'm at the point where I don't really care so much about classes anymore and I just want to do something different. This is NOT a good place to be at. Pray that I will have a new energy for the tasks at hand right now.

Blessings.
