busy weekend

This has probably been my busiest weekend since getting home from Ecuador. Not that I'm complaining, but I am a little tired!

Friday was a lot of fun. I got to take in Canada's Wonderland with a good friend for my one and only time this year. It was such a beautiful day that we spent much of it at the water park splashing around in the wave pool and heading down all the water slides. We even set a record on the "toilet bowl" one!! Yeah, I don't know the name of this particular slide! lol! You get a tube(for 2), climb to the top, hop in the tube, get shot down a wee slide and thrusted into this thing that looks like a huge toilet bowl(no word of a lie!). While in line to the top we counted how many times the other riders would make it around the toilet bowl before going down the drain...2...3...4 tops! But David and I hit an all time high...5 times around the toilet bowl! Yep, its true! We believe that we broke a splash works/toilet bowl record!!! lol! It was a lot of fun! After spending most of our time in the water park, we were able to hit 3 coasters(the wild beast, Vortex and the new Italian job ride...and I kept my eyes open on all of them. I was very proud of myself!! lol!) before we had to head out for the evening. Good times!

Saturday was spent at the wedding of some friends of ours. We arrived late(as the bride was making her entrance!) and had to sit at the back of the garden in the comfy muskoka chairs! We were pretty embarassed to have shown up late, but no one seemed to be bothered, least of all the bride as she grined at us from ear to ear walking past to sign the register! The evening was spent in good company, with excellent food and topping it off with fun on the dance floor! You can never get too much dancing done at a wedding! lol.

Overall my weekend was an enjoyable one. Only 10 days until I leave for Vancouver...time is flying and I have so many things to finish up around here. Can't wait!
