Sandwich Caper

This week is the millionth yearly Sandwich Caper here at the Bangor Corps. It is the biggest fundraising event for the youth of the Corps and participation in it allows the teen to go to Youth Councils for free in Maine. Its a great fundraiser. A lot of work, but totally worth it, imo.

Today marks the first day of Sandwich Caper '07. The teens are on a school holiday this week and give up most of it to come here and make endless amounts of sandwiches. Last night one guy diced 25 pounds of onions....the place stinks!!!!

Last year they hit an all time high in orders, which has already been topped so far this year.

For the next 2 days we will be making somewhere around 900 sandwiches.

Want one?? We have Ham, Salami, Tuna and Veggie. They cost $3.00 each and are footlongs. You can't even get a footlong at subway for the great a deal....

Here's to making lots and lots and lots of sandwiches!!

Blessings.
