fatigue

I am feeling rather tired this morning. Got up a little earlier than usual for a Monday. The Corps receptionist is on vacation for a week(a cruise and I'm only a little jealous)so a few of us are pitching in to answer the phones. I'll be honest with you, this is not a job made for me. I'm reminded of my weekends at Union Gospel Mission where I sat and answered phones. I believe I'm yawning just as much now as I did then.

Update with some eventful times here at the Corps. The food processor in the soup kitchen decided to blow a socket a few minutes ago, causing us all to evacuate the building and wait for the fire department to arrive. This is never fun in the middle of winter when your coat is locked in the office downstairs!!!

One more interesting thing for you from Bangor today: did you know that in Maine they call goulash, American chop suey?!? WHAT? Yeah, its totally goulash!! So weird.

Blessings.
