faith & obedience

The concert that I went to on Friday night was at a Campus Crusade event. They are attending this event for 5 days and have various speakers coming in for teaching and stuff like that. Since I was there, I figured I'd sit down and listen to what the nights speaker had to say. In the end it turned out that I only listened to little snippets, though I knew he was talking about faith; having the faith to do anything, to witness anywhere and to anyone no matter what vocation you chose(mostly college students there!).
The same theme kept popping up all over...faith, faith, faith. Its a great thing to disuss and he had so many things to say, though through it all I kept thinking, what about obedience?
Thinking back over the last year or so, I can recall times when my faith in God, and those around me was so weak. Times when I wanted to run, think only of myself and not have to talk to anyone, let alone be told what to do by them! Yet, I remained(for the most part!)obedient. I had the choice and I made it. At any given time, I could have ran, I could have packed up and walked away from the place that God had put me in.
It sounds so simple in my mind. You can seem as though(and feel as though)you are lacking in faith yet remain obedient. Doesn't take much, seems so simple, right? Or is it? Only takes a little? A little faith, a little obedience? Thankfully God accepts it all.

Little is much when God's in it
And no one can fathom the plans He holds
Little is much when God's in it
He changes the world with the seeds we sow
Little is much, little is much

(little is much - downhere)

Blessings.
