taking a few days...

I have taken the last few days off from life. Well, almost. Its been an interesting few days to say the least.
As most of you know I work at Starbucks(for another 2 weeks). My days usually start at about 4am and the "work" part of my day usually finishes between 10am-1pm. When I finish work at 10am I honestly feel as though my entire day is over. I'm usually exhausted and feel as though I do not want to do anything else(although that doesn't usually happen!).
This past week was a struggle, right from the beginning. I was feeling tired and sluggish and really didn't know how to beat it. I go to bed on time(usually), but I do not eat well(or regularly) and I have definitely been consuming too much caffeine.
It all became clear on Thursday when I was working a shift at another store. I was feeling a little off,and then started feeling woozy and asked if I could go sit down in the back. I didn't make it. I walked towards the back room and the next thing I remember, I was on the floor with a manager saying my name and talking to a 911 dispatcher! I had fainted and was coming back. The paramedics came, took all my vitals, asked many questions and examined the goose egg on my head - apparently I hit my head pretty hard on a stainless steel counter on the way down.
The choice was made(by me, of course)not to go to the hospital. Some good friends came and picked me up and brought me home. I spent the rest of the night and most of the next day resting. I've taken the last 2 days off and its been good. Working at getting myself on a regular eating schedule again is more difficult. I'm also going to do my best to decrease my caffeine intake-its not good for me!
Its been an eventful few days.
