Christmas has past and the New Year is quickly approaching. Do any of you make resolutions? I do my best not to think too much into things that I would like to see happen in the coming year. The only thing I have planned it to let God stay in control. Sound like the best plan to me!
These days after Christmas have been spent chilling and relaxing.
Thursday night brought friends from all 4 sessions of The War College together enjoying each others company, lots of food(and ice cream!!), and spending some time praying for each other. Good times!
Last night I hit up a downhere concert downtown with some good friends, followed by good breakfast eats at Golden Griddle!
I don't even know where to begin to describe to you how the music of this band blesses me - I had forgotten, to be honest. It was one of those things where life had become so busy that the things that used to help me settle and focus were left to the wayside. That is not the case now, and the reminder came from a rock concert! A rock concert that was Holy Spirit filled - amazing! One of the best parts of the evening for me was turning my head to the left and seeing a young boy(no older than 10)with his hands raised in adoration to the Lord our King. I was blessed to tears!
The next 6 days(that's all that I have left in Canada!)will be spent sleeping, catching up with a few more friends and enjoying every moment that I can, while attempting not to stress about anything!
Give thanks with a grateful heart.
God is here.
Blessings.
