Back home...

That's right, I am now back in Vancouver. Its exciting, yet SO tiring!! Oh man, I'm pooped. Getting used a different schedule just really takes a lot out of you.

Everything here is great. We are back into the swing of things(albeit its a lot different from May when we left), and our days are pretty jam packed. Let me tell you though, it was really nice to see everyone in my session. Our debrief presentations have started and so far its been interesting to hear about the ups and downs of people's summer assignment. I have mine on Wednesday - that should be fun. Here's hoping I don't bore everyone to tears.

Its been interesting to come back into the downtown eastside after 3 months of being away. Surreal almost. In some ways I feel like a visitor in my own neighborhood. I walk down the street, see many familiar faces and yet it seems like the first time I've walked down of these familiar streets. I don't know if this is a feeling that I've ever had before. Its definitely different.
In 2 weeks I will be a graduate of The War College and beginning Jubilee Week(like a sabbath week). Things to keep in your prayers:

-my presentation on Wednesday
-energy for these next 2 weeks
-re-joining large community(it could be easy to isolate myself)
-graduation preparations...we are in charge of the set-up and how it will look, so...
-motivation to write a resume and start a job hunt
-patience
