As I have said many a time before, I am not so great at the blogging thing.

Arrived back in Bangor safe and sound after missing my flight because of a run-in with immigration. I am legally in the USofA until August 12 - then I am booted out! Well, not really, but you get the point.

First week back and its been super busy. VBS(vacation Bible school) started on Monday and runs through Friday night. I am an assistant in the Ancient Labratory to Dr. Pedic(who is a puppet) and we are learning about commandment #5 'Obey you parents.' We have also been doing some fun experiments with baking soda and vinegar(I'm sure you all remember back to jr.high science class to remember what happens when you mix the 2). Tomorrow night I'll be taking the older kids out to the parking lot to do the 'coke and mentos' trick that's all the rave right now. Good times!
Amidst trying to stay prepared daily for VBS, I worked my day at the Thrift Store(and watched a crazy thunderstorm from the dock!), did one camp run today(to camp and back - made it is just over 2 hours...I think that's good!), and will do another camp run on Friday.
Plus, I am preparing the morning meeting for Sunday - and yes, I am preaching...OH MAN!

I believe that this may be the busiest week I've had in Bangor yet. God's grace is pulling me through and strengthening me - I'm grateful for it more than ever.
After this week there are only 4 left in Bangor. After that its back to Vancouver for 2 weeks and that's it - its over. My year at The War College will officially end. I have(I believe) secured a place to live but I'll have to get a job. My ministry in leadership at the War College will begin and I will start the Phase II portion of The War College.

Time has flown this year - its hard to believe.

I am excited for what the future holds. God is so amazing.
