Good Morning

I have a few minutes before Praying the Bible, so thought I'd give you all a quick update.

Things are still going very well here in Bangor. Minus the rain! Seriously, its time for the rain to stop.
Friday night I went to Powerhouse for the first time. Its a teen centre here at the Corps and I'll be volunteering all summer. It was interesting. I kind of just did as I was told and took the opportunity as the 'new girl' to really look around and take everything in. It will be nice over the next few weeks to try and get to know some of the teens who come regularly.
That night after PH we(Joel and I) drove down to westbrook to hang out with our friend Joe. We spent the night at his placement and had all day saturday to chill with him. It is nice that we are so close together and have the opportunity to visit. We are blessed and had some great conversations.
Yesterday was church. It was great! We have been hearing some things for this Corps in our prayers, and the leaders here have been very open to what we have to say. They also spend time listening, and listen to what each other have to say - that's key! Listening. I was blessed to be in this room(I'm in the sanctuary now - I think its my favorite room in this building) then and continue to pray for Holy Spirit's outpouring among the people here. It really was great to be a part of.
Today I'm off to the Thrift Store. Who know's what job will be waiting for me when I get there - every week is different. Although today, I vow, in front of you my friends, that I will not purchase anything in the 6 hours that I am there!!! It seriously is becoming a weakness and I leave with something in my hand every week(last week I left with 3 somethings!!!).
