Oh what a night!

Its been a lazy day! I don't have many of these, where I sit around(literally) and do absolutely nothing. To be honest, if we weren't asked to go and help clean up a neighbourhood pub earlier(we got a donation for 614), I probably would have spent most of my day in my pj's.

Time is flying here at The War College. Its hard to believe that the end of March is nearing! What does this mean? My birthday is that much closer! Going to New York(yeah!) is that much closer! Summer assignment is that much closer! To be honest, I don't spend that much time thinking about all of this. But today I've had some time on my hands and the thoughts have just entered in.

I have spent time thinking, and thanking God, for how much I've changed this year. Spiritually, emotionally, personally. Growth has been a defining factor of my year in Vancouver. I have learned(this week especially) that intimacy with God is so much more important than anything that I can get from humans.
God has been speaking me a lot over the past months through the book Song of Songs. If you have not read it, I recommend it!! Get past how it sounds and what you think it may be talking about, and look at how Jesus wants to speak to you through it. As his bride.
Lately he's been showing me how beautiful I am(7:6) - on the inside and out. Its been hard to accept since the world has such a bias view on what is beautiful. But He's working on me and I'm starting to believe it. Just today Jesus showed me that I am "a garden fountain, a well of fresh water..."(4:15). Praise the Lord! His love is amazing!

Blessings.
