Into the swing

That's right, its time for us War College students to get back into the swing of things! Reading Week has come to an end and what a week it has been.

Lets see. I will try to recap my week for you.

*Stayed up late WAY too many nights! This is not something I normally do because I just can't function without sleep(which I'm feeling right now).

*Learned how to play poker. Which was fun but lead to the afore mentioned late nights.

*Covered 5(that I can remember) war room shifts and had some sweet time with Jesus. I did do one 2-8am shift that I probably will never do again!! That was a little too long at the wrong time of the day!

*Went to Stanley Park - which is probably nicer in the spring. It was really windy that day and we don't know our way around the park so we kinda felt as though we were just walking aimlessly(disputing which direction to take...go figure!).

*Did some reading. Yes, I actually read during reading week!

*Got a free pita from the Pita Pit! Thanks Jill it was YUMMY!

*Played some pool last night and lost every game! Its been a long time since I played, but it was nice none the less! Plus it only cost 25 cents per game! That's pretty sweet.

*Went to Church this morning(New Westminster Citadel). It was great as always. Plus there was a pot luck afterwards. Always nice to get free food. ;)

That about rounds up my Reading Week - that I can remember!!

It has now almost been 6 months since I have come to Vancouver. WOW! What a half year it has been. Hopefully sometime this week I'll be able to get out and give you a full length report about how these months have been.
