Good rainy afternoon! Yeah, I'm definitely back in Vancouver.
This afternoon I have the priveledge of watching Jedidiah Evans - one of the cutest kids on this planet! If I had a picture of him, I would show you so you could agree. I figured that I would take the opportunity to blog while he's still napping.
Lately a lot of people have been asking me about the future - "What do you think you'll be doing next year, Denise?" My answer is always that I do not know yet. It has pretty much been confirmed to me that I will not be heading back to Toronto permanently, but where I will be, only God knows at the moment. I have been praying about it, and so far nothing has been revealed to me in any detail. Will I still be associated with 614 vancouver? Yes. Will I be in Vancouver? Who knows?! I just feel a lot of pressure to have that decision made quickly. I don't want to make the wrong one.
This term I have decided to begin going to church regularly(or as regularly as I can). I can't say that I have missed everything about Sunday meetings, but I do miss them somewhat. So yeah, I have picked a Corps(New Westminster) and I will be heading out there with a friend starting tomorrow morning. Looking forward to it.
So...as you can see, I do not really have a whole lot to share today.
We are back in the swing of things here at The War College. Papers are due, ministry opportunities are arising more frequently, and 60 hour weeks are back!!
Time to do some homework!
Blessings.

Dee. . God will lead you. I'm soo glad that you're associated with the War College and 614 Vancouver. . this whole experience has probably saved you from sliding into that peculiar brand of salvationism that people in these parts seem to exhibit - you know what i mean. . I wouldn't want that for you. . or for anyone. . cuz its so destructive, even though its disguised in apathy, but it is deadly for the spirit.

Denise - I'm so glad you're going to be "amonst us" for however long you're here. We already love you and can't wait to love you more! I wanted to apologize (sorry to do it here, but I don't have an e-mail addy for you) for making you guys wait yesterday - thanks for your grace and patience, especially since I never did get to come and chat and pray with you. I'm so sorry - please pass my apologies to Joe and Joel. I pray you had a restful and refreshing time yesterday in the presence of the Lord and I hope we see you all again soon.
Love you,
Karyn
