new rule

I kind of feel as though I need to clarify myself on this new rule! State some things that I did not when first blogging it. Also becuase of the response I got from Rob...who has every right to speak strongly where I did not.

Rob, it was nice to meet Amy at ACC...she is pretty cool herself! But you alredy knew that!
Do not worry about sounding preachy, actually, I sounded in my post like a whiny school girl - which I am not. I do agree with the rule and have not spent much time in the guys rooms for that very reason. And the fact that I did not want to be thought of like the person(s) who were spending a little too much time there. While yes, I am 28 and feel a little weird not being able to go into a boys room, I am also old enough to know that I, as the oldest full time student here have an example to set to those who(for the majority) are coming from home for the first time and have not had to deal with these sort of things.
Now I am thinking of your questions...why would a girl sleep or shower in the guys room...because they let her! I do not know what they were thinking.
After having a discussion on Friday night, I mentioned to one of the boys that we(some of their peers) mentioned to them(before going to leadership with the problem) that this needed to stop because of the repercutions of the whole situation. His response to me was that people will not usually listen to their peers when it comes to this sort of thing. It will not mean anything until it comes from leadership.
Well, it has now come from leadership and they are all pissed off! Hmmm....maybe he should think twice before not listening to his peers!

This may not have come out any more eloquently...its early and I am not great at expressing myself in this manner! ;)

Time for class.

Blessings.
