I do not generally enjoy being in transition. But in all honesty, how many of us do?
This past week has been one of big transitions...moving from the known to the unknown, meeting many new and wonderful people. Almost everyone from this years War College class has arrived, and we are all slowly getting to know each other. Great, great people...this is going to be a wonderful year.
Speaking of students, if you're reading this today(Sunday), please stop and say a prayer for Crystal. She is one of my roommates - the one who hasn't arrived yet - and she is having some problems at the border. She was denied entry last evening, so a few people went to the border(she's busing it from Seattle) to see if they could get her in. In the end, she was placed into a hotel with Katie(another roommate) and they spent the night there. Those folk are again on their way to see if they can't get her into Canada. Please Pray. God definitely has a plan for her this year and really wants her to be here...there wouldn't be so much warfare if he didn't.
Classes start tomorrow...a new transition. I am looking forward to getting into the grind and having an actual schedule. Keep on praying.
Blessings.

i'm praying! I'm so excited for you, Dee! (and for everyone there too!)
hey Denise,
so there you have it... Vancouver :) you're right, when you've lived there for so long, it's easy to become complacent with the situation... and that's where prayer is needed...that God would raise up Christians in that community to reach out to the lost. perhaps you can create awareness in the church that you attend in Vancouver...wherever that is...
