Wow! I've got SO much to share and feel like I have so little time to share it!
The title - dusting off? Have you ever been dusted off? If you haven't, you should do it - its amazing. Now let me try and explain(pardon my lack of writing skills...I should snap myself for saying that!) what it is exactly.
Dusting off is a prayer...a petition...an asking for God to bless what you've just done or will be doing and to "dust off" anything from the enemy, any bad thoughts or scemes. Its refreshing.
I have been participating with a group of my fellow holy session mates and we have been interceeding for each other, and sharing what we are feeling that God is placing on our hearts for each other. WHOA! God has some huge plans in store for all of us. When I have my paper on me I will share what people saw in store for me.
What else has been happening...
We had our first street combat session the other night and it was great. Can you sense that my excitement for Street combat is not as high?! I'm praying that away...I want to go into it with an open mind and an un-fearful heart. Its been hard for me.
Street combat is when we get into pairs and walk the streets of the downtown eastside praying with and for the people we meet. I was in tears before we started because the enemy was weighing so heavily on me. My friends prayed over me and that despair was lifted...and I'm doing my best to keep myself out of that trap now. You can all pray for that.
What else, what else!!!! Man, I feel so rushed and incomplete!
Tonight I will be doing my next war room shift(24/7 prayer)...from 2-5am!!!! Yes, you read that correctly! My squad(small group of us) was late for our dusting off session the other day and received a "bonus blessing." If you're a TMI member reading this, its a lot like an Special Blessing, except that now I have to do them!!!! =) And, when you get a BB, you have to do an extra war room shift from 2-5am. So that's what my squad and I will be doing tonight. =) God will bless us, and that will teach us never to be tardy again. We are required to do 2 shifts per week, one alone and one with someone else. Very exciting stuff.
Speaking of the war room...I really should get to bed! 2 am will be here all too soon!
Blessings.

BE BLESSED
Good luck!!! For those of you who don't know Denise like I do...I AM HER BIG SISTER...she better get some sleep cause she is SOOOO cranky without it!!!
We miss you Aunt Denise(from Brooklyn and Tanner), I put him in there too because as soon as I said your name he went nuts!
Hope you are working hard and enjoying yourself!
Brooklyn says "sleep tight don't let the bed bugs bite" fitting isn't it!
Ellen
You know, Ellen, you could put your name in there, then you wouldn't have to tell everyone that you're my sister!
And I'm not crancky with lack of sleep...just tired.
I don't have bed bugs. I may after Christmas, but I'm good to go for now! ha =)
wow. . Dee. . this is just so amazing. . I hope that you can keep us informed and inspired. I am so almost jealous. . is that a bad word? not meanly jealous, but just so wanting for myself this kind of life.. .I have no one to train me, no one to fight alongside with. . no one to intercede for me. . no war room to pray in. . That is why i am sooo thrilled for you - cuz you have busted loose from this apathetic area of the S.A. world and you are RIGHT THERE in the action!!!
I'm drifting away. . i have no church, I am losing touch with the Army. . cuz the Army around here stinks and you know. . i'm just dying here. Please pray for me?
Give my regards to Steven and to Aaron and Cherie. . *me and my family miss A&C terribly*
Stay strong, hon. . and know that my selfish ranting aside here. . I am very proud of you!!!
