going to war...still!

So - I know there are people who read yesterdays post who wondered...."What the heck is she talking about?" One of those people in particular is my sister. I sent out this blog to some people and never actually thought they read it!! Guess what? Some of them do!
My sister read yesterday's post and had that thought. Instead of sending me an anonymous message(thanks for not doing that, Ellen), she waited for me to tell her what's up(I'm really surprised by this actually). Anywho - I've now filled my family in, so I will fill the rest of you out there in as well.

As of September 2005 I will be leaving my comfortable home in Toronto and moving to Vancouver for one year. Why? To become a session mate along with many others at The War College http://www.thewarcollege.com as a member of the Holy Terror session. I'm very excited about the Holy Terror part...I LOVE that name! Gives me goosebumps just thinking about it.
While I'm pretty nervous, excited and anxious about the whole thing, I am trying to get out of the back of my head just how old I am. Apparently the average age of those accepted thus far is 23. Yeah, I'm not 23!! And I'm getting older...any day now! Many students use this as a 'gap year' between high school and college, or college and the so called "real world." I myself feel like I've been living in gap years for many years now. To me this is more like a natural progression into the missions that I know I'm supposed to be doing. Where that mission will be I have no idea....I only know that the doors have been openned for me to attend, and I'm going to take the step - join in on the adventure that God has set out for me.

Exciting stuff. When I know more, I'll let you know. Your continued prayer support is appreciated - I need it!

Blessings.

Ok, you told me...do you feel better? I forgot to ask you what I am going to do about FREE babysitting?
Seriously, I am proud of you for following your dreams...who knows what is out there for you to do. Congrats on being accepted and good luck living on that budget!
For those of you who REALLY know Denise, she will need lots of phone cards to call her mom!
Ellen, Dean, Brooklyn & Tanner--The real Holy Terror!!! xo

Yes Ellen, I realize Tanner is a terror! And you'll just have to start paying someone to babysit for you...sorry!! ;p As for living on the budget-I've got 6 months to get used to it before I leave. Easy-peasy!
